They are travel weary, but otherwise in good shape. We are thankful for their safe return and praising the Lord for the good work He has started in each one.

We all danced!!!

As I write this we are pulling away from our lodge and waving goodbye to the World Vision staff. Yesterday we went to Simumpande and saw their amazing progress. We saw the cattle, goats, and donkeys that their partnership has provided. Part of the team also visited the borehole sites. In the evening we all danced as we sang and prayed and exchanged gifts. We are praising God for our time in Sinazongwe and for our WV partners in Zambia. Thank you to all who have been praying for our team, please continue to lift us up in prayer.

With love from all of us,

Jim

Celebrating our Partnership with Siabaswi

Wow what a day! In the morning we split up and saw a crocodile farm, rode bikes to eight different Siabaswi churches and others visited some borehole sites. We all met back up in the village for a great lunch and a meeting with the partnership committee. After that we had an amazing celebration!!! So Kinton danced again, along with Graig and others. The villagers loved it. We sang, we prayed, and we exchanged gifts. It was an amazing celebration. We were able to show the village a movie encompassing the last five years of partnership. It was a blessed day. All are well. We are praising God.

Divide and Conquer

Today we split up into two groups. In the morning we went out visiting sponsor children. Erica, Attie, Pam and Heather got to see their sponsor children and Erica proves to be a netball champion. We had lunch in Maamba and then divided up again. The MED focus people headed to Harmos and some small businesses, while others drove to some borehole well sites to pray for the upcoming drilling. We conveyed greetings and blessings from the well sponsors. It was an awesome day.

Magical Day

Today we were welcomed with smiles and open arms in Siabaswi Village, where we met with many sponsor children. What a blessing. We ate a traditional lunch under the musika tree of goat, fish, and chicken. We took part in the hammermill ribbon cutting. Jill and Attie Sherman drank from the borehole well dedicated to Paul Sherman. It was a very special moment. We visited West Linn HS/Cameron Bays' borehole well (at the Chimonselo School site in the Kanchindu Zone) on the way home.

Kevin's Birthday, Chief Sinazongwe, Makonkoto School

Today we worshiped and had devos with the World Vision staff. The team met with Chief Sinazongwe asking him how we could help. Our visit to the Makonkoto School was wonderful and we saw great progress with the building. Erica presented a gift to the headmaster and Heather gave some net balls to the girls of the school. During the ceremony the children had a great laugh at us singing "Pharoah Pharoah," Kinton and Todd had some crazy moves. The day was full of blessing. We look forward to tomorrow.

Update from LuAnn Yocky

LuAnn reports they are still missing two bags (1 of LuAnns and 1 of Todds). Graig and Heather have their bags. Today the team visited Makonkoto School and are excited about the progress. Kevin Cummings met one of his sponsor children. Lots of visits to the villages are planned over the next few days and more sponsor visits.

Sunday Worship at Sinazongwe ADP

We've just arrived back from a wonderful three hour service. Graig preached and the team sang one song, and the mens trio sang another. Another pastor also preached and the Zambian churches had a great worship team. After the service we played with the kids, sang and fellowshiped, Kinton danced again and a blessed time was had by all. We are making preparations for sponsor visits tomorrow.
